The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to own and execute our growth strategy. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance our brand recognition.
This role requires strategic thinking with hands-on execution will be crucial in achieving our business objectives.You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Qlub’s expansion, working closely with our partners to deliver frictionless guest experiences and empower restaurants to thrive.
What You’ll Be Driving:
New Merchant Acquisition
- Drive end-to-end acquisition of new restaurant partners through a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, and channel or partner referrals. 
- Own the full sales cycle — from lead qualification and tailored solution design to negotiation and contract closure — ensuring a high close rate and minimal friction. 
- Craft success strategies for each merchant by understanding their business model, challenges, and goals, and identify clear opportunities for upselling value-added services 
- Continuously improve our approach by sharing field insights, win stories, and feedback loops with the wider commercial team to sharpen our collective playbook. 
Merchant Onboarding & Experience
- Partner closely with the operations and onboarding teams to ensure merchants are activated quickly and smoothly, with minimal drop-off post-signing. 
- Champion the merchant voice internally — surfacing product gaps, friction points, and new needs to drive improvements in both product and process. 
- Set merchants up for long-term success by guiding them through best practices, highlighting key features, and monitoring initial performance post-launch. 
Pipeline & CRM Governance
- Maintain a clean and disciplined sales pipeline with up-to-date information on lead status, stage progression, and expected close dates in HubSpot (or relevant CRM). 
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasts by managing pipeline health proactively and tracking key metrics across stages. 
- Stay consistently on target by owning your quota and using data to drive focus, accountability, and improvements in deal velocity and conversion. 
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or account management — ideally in SaaS, payments, or the F&B/hospitality tech space. 
- A proven track record of closing new business and managing a dynamic portfolio while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and retention targets. 
- Skilled in solution-based selling, with the ability to uncover merchant pain points and clearly articulate value across multiple stakeholders. 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, equally comfortable in commercial negotiations, strategic planning, and hands-on implementation conversations. 
- Exceptionally organized and self-motivated, with a bias toward action and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing focus on execution. 
- Confident using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs, and comfortable leveraging data to guide conversations, decisions, and forecasting.
