The role
qlub is scaling fast across markets worldwide, and we look for people who take real ownership of their work. As our next Finance and Operations Associate, you'll help drive our growth in Singapore: building, shipping, and delivering results from day one. You'll work closely with operators and partners to turn frictionless payments into real growth for restaurants. If you thrive in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment, this role is for you.
What you’ll own:
Reconciliation & Accuracy: Help check that daily and monthly transactions and merchant payouts all add up correctly, down to the last cent.
Problem Solving: Dig into payout issues or mismatches and help fix them, working with teammates and external partners along the way.
Invoicing & Billing: Help prepare monthly invoices for merchants — accuracy and timing matter here.
Payment Tracking: Keep an eye on payment flows, settlement status, and any outstanding balances to help the business stay cash-flow healthy.
Merchant Liaison: Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for merchants with questions about billing, payouts, or invoices.
Vendor & Partner Coordination: Team up with vendors and payment partners to double-check transaction and settlement data.
Collections: Match incoming payments to invoices, make sure everything's allocated correctly, and follow up on any overdue payments.
Operational Support: Pitch in on other finance and ops projects as needed — think process improvements, reports, and cross-team initiatives.
Records Management: Keep clean, organised records of reconciliation and invoicing work so we're always audit-ready.
Who you are:
You've done this before in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
You move fast and make strong decisions with incomplete information
You take real ownership and think like an operator, not a coordinator
You're energized by hard problems in payments, hospitality, and customer experience
What you’ll need:
Degree holders from any field; Finance, Accounting, or Business background is a plus.
At least 2 years' experience in finance, operations, or a customer-facing role; startup experience preferred. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Demonstrated willingness to engage directly in reconciliation, billing, and operational activities, and to collaborate with team members to resolve challenges.
Strong commitment to accuracy and exceptional customer satisfaction, supported by excellent communication, numerical, and problem-solving abilities to align internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience in payments, fintech, hospitality tech, or a high-growth marketplace
Experience in remote work will be beneficial
